Programs & Workshops

Learning that sticks long after the room clears.

Every program we design is built around your organization's specific context — your people, your challenges, your goals. Explore our core offerings below.

Designed for the real world of nonprofit work

Nonprofit and government work is fundamentally different from corporate environments. Resources are constrained. Stakes are high. Turnover is real. And the people doing this work care deeply.

Our programs are built by practitioners who understand this context. Every workshop, every cohort, every engagement is designed to meet organizations where they are — not where a generic training curriculum assumes they should be.

Build specific skills, fast.

How we get started

Every engagement begins with understanding. We listen deeply, ask the right questions, and work with you to design something that actually fits your organization.

Initial conversation

A 45-minute call to understand your organization's context, goals, and challenges. No pitch — just listening.

Step 02

Needs assessment

For custom programs, we conduct interviews and surveys with key stakeholders to ground the design in your reality.

Step 03

Program design

We draft a detailed program plan — objectives, sessions, materials, facilitation approach — and revise it together.

Step 04

Delivery & follow-up

We deliver the program, evaluate outcomes, and stay connected with follow-up sessions and resources.

Questions

Things people ask us

Yes. We've worked with organizations in Canada, the UK, and several African and Latin American countries. Most of our international engagements are delivered remotely, though we do travel for multi-day programs.

Absolutely. In-house delivery is one of our most common formats. We'll design a workshop specifically for your team and deliver it on-site or virtually. Group size typically ranges from 10 to 60 participants.

For a single workshop, we typically need 3–4 weeks of lead time. For multi-month programs, we recommend beginning planning at least 2–3 months before the intended start date to allow for adequate needs assessment and design.

Yes. All of our programs can be delivered virtually, and we've refined our virtual facilitation approach significantly. Many participants find virtual formats easier to access and just as impactful when well-designed.

Equity is central to how we design and facilitate. We actively work to ensure diverse representation in cohorts, use inclusive facilitation practices, and regularly audit our curriculum for bias. We can also deliver sessions with an explicit DEIB focus upon request.

Not sure which program is right for you?

Let's have a conversation. We'll help you figure out the right fit — even if that means pointing you to someone else who's a better match.
